Barcelona day 6&7, Zaragoza day 8

Long time no writing - but we were quite busy! On Thursday, we spent another day on the beach. We really enjoyed it again, although silence would've been nice. There were several people walking around offering mojitos (mojitoooo's, fresh mojitooo's), massages (massage! Massage! Señorita, you want massage), pareo's (pareo, shawl; shawl pareo), drinks (cold beer, coke, water, aqua). Luckily we could see the humor of it, and it grew to be a nice background noise. Yesterday we have spent in the city. It wasn't that warm and we wanted to go to Tibidado - the highest point in Barcelona. On top, there is an attraction park and a church. To get there, we had to make quite a journey with the metro, bus and a 100 year old train (we could definitely feel and hear its age). The view was beautiful and we made some great panorama shots. That night was our last night in Barcelona, so we decided to end it with a nice dinner at the tapas restaurant. We sat there for three hours and had a really good time with great food!
Today was a hectic day. We had to get up early (not something we're used to now), clean up the apartment and we had to throw the keys through the window because Lukas was delayed. We really hope we haven't hit anything valuable. After that, we hailed a cab and went to the train station. After some orientation and help from some nice people (and not-so-nice people but let's ignore them), we had the right train and we left for Zaragoza! According to the message board in the train, we went 290 km/h. We were not sure whether we really went that fast, but we were there in 1.5 hours. We again took a cab and arrived safely at the hotel. We went to our apartment and were very surprised; it's really great and has almost everything (dishwasher, oven, microwave, 2 toilets, balcony and 2 bedrooms). We will try to survive here :)

Jolanda:
Hoi meiden,
Groetjes,
Jolanda de Groot
